GENERAL POLICIES
Tuition
Lessons are $42 per month
for each class your dancer is enrolled in. A registration fee of $20 and
the first month’s tuition is due upon registration.
Discounts are as
follows:
Family: $20
registration fee (per child) for the first two children; $10
registration fee for the 3rd
child, 4th
(and more) free. Multiples-class discounts are applied as though your
child was one student.
Additional Classes:
2nd
class =$42 3rd
class = $38, 4th
class and more = $26 each
Pay in Full:
Tuition paid upfront for the entire year is reduced by 10% if paid by
July 15th
(one month FREE!)
All payments are due by
the 1st
of the month. All checks are to be made payable to: Divine Rhythms
Dance.
Students are allowed 1
trial class in any particular technique. This means that they may try a
class once without paying upfront in order to determine placement. After
the student decides to join and attends a second class you will be
billed for the entire month.
Students who participate
in even 1 lesson during the month are responsible for full payment of
that month’s tuition. If a student does not come to class for any reason
you are still responsible for the regular tuition rate. Billing will
stop only after a DROP CLASS form has been received at the front desk.
Absences and Behavior
Please understand that
the dancers and instructors work extremely hard on the end of the year
routines. Staging and partner work are seriously affected by
absenteeism. The studio has done its best to accommodate regular school
closings into our calendar as we understand these are optimal times for
vacations, etc.
Students are expected to
wear DANCE ATTIRE as outlined. Please no jewelry or gum chewing in
class. Cell phones should be turned to silent.
Water bottles are
permitted, but should be clearly labeled
Costumes
A costume deposit of $50
per class is due with October payment.
Costume balances are due
in full by February 1st.
You are responsible for payment in full.
The front desk will have
the costume costs in January for your reference. Invoices will also be
given out. Tights (if required) are included in the total cost of the
costume.
In
consideration of the dance lessons afforded to me under this agreement
by DIVINE RHYTHMS, and in recognition of the physically strenuous nature
of dancing, I hereby, knowingly, freely and voluntarily waive any right
of cause of action of any kind whatsoever arising as a result of such
activity from which any liability may or could accrue to DIVINE RHYTHMS
DANCE or its agents.
